Lightweight bout: KJ Noons defeatd Jorge Gurgel via TKO (punches) at 0:19 of round 2. Note that Noons dropped Gurgel with a punch he threw a immediately after the bell at the close of round 1. In the 2nd round Noons hit Gurgel with a knee while Gurgel was grounded. The referee, Kerry Hatley, stopped the fight and awarded Noons the TKO win.
Exciting fight. I thought the first punch immidiately after the bell was excuseable. But the knee in the 2nd was illegal no matter how you slice it and there is no excuse for not calling DQ.
