Fabiano's slowness simply doesn't cut it. Benavidez striking wasn't spectacular, but when the fight went to the ground, which was mostly by slips, he was able to take over and threaten with multiple submissions before eventually locking one in.
I really want to see Joseph Benavidez vs. Demetrious Johnson in a "might as well be flyweight" division.
