Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Finals: Barnett vs. Cormier – 8. Gilbert Melendez vs. Josh Thomson
Thomson looked great, with fast and dynamic striking, and good trip take downs. In the 4th Thomson spent the last minute with body triangle back control trying to choke Melendez. Melendez was able to out work Thomson on the feet and with double leg take downs. I gave Thomson the last two rounds.
