Eric Kamander 
started MMA Ratings late in 2007 as a way to capture fan’s opinions of fights and events in order to determine things like Fight of the Year. Towards the end of 2007 when the topic of fight of the year came up, he had the idea of creating a forum where people could track their evaluation of each fight throughout the year in order to eliminate the debate and lack of recollection. He maintains the site, including the fight and event rankings.
Eric’s background is in technology, specifically infrastructure design. He was never a real sports fan, but always a martial arts practitioner and enthusiast. He watched MMA occasionally until 2006 when he became obsessed as a fan. His spare time is spent with family and running MMA Ratings.
Nicholas Bailey started contributing to MMA Ratings in August 2008. He has added a variety of content, but specializes in detailed pre-fight predictions and fight breakdowns, including betting advice, as well as managing the fighter rankings.
Katrina Belcher became a contributor to MMA Ratings in December 2008. She is the founder and editor of TheUltimateFemaleFighter.com, a site designed as an outreach for industry information and connecting females in the fight industry.
Katrina is also the founder of The National Association for MMA Fight Professionals (or NAFMMAF), which was founded to provide comprehensive benefits and support to MMA fight professionals.
Michael Ford started contributing to MMA Ratings in November 2009. A long time listener and emailer of Beatdown Radio, who according to Josh Gross “always has insightful things to say and we should read his stuff more often.”
