Good solid fight and only a matter of time for Maia to force a submission. His BJJ skills are awesome and clearly showing them in the fight.
The fight was an excellent show of BJJ skills. MacDonald has shown a knack for submissions , but against a guy the level of Maia, even a novice fan could see the difference in grappling skills. Maia showed great control of the action and excellent transitions from one submission attempt to the next. His ground and pound kept MacDonald guessing as well.
