The bouts between Robbie Lawler and Trevor Prangley at middleweight; Bobby Stack and David Douglas at lightweight, and Juan Nunez and Luis Mendoza at featherweight were all cancelled.
Strikeforce's Showtime product continues to improve. The commentating team and interviewing is getting better, though Frank Shamrock and his "keys to victory" have to go. They have no validity and Shamrock's "expert analysis" is elementary and often misguided.
Strikeforce would benefit greatly by attempting to work under card fights into the broadcast. This would have far more value than much of the ancillary information such as interviews and pre-fight countdown type highlights.
The ref-cam replays are a quality addition to the broadcast.
I think its a mistake to bring Henderson into the middleweight division. Bringing him in at light heavyweight maximizes his potential. If Henderson were to lose while working his way up to a LHW title he can always drop down far more viably than vice versa.
