According to FightMetric Sean Pierson set the all-time record for most significant strikes landed in a UFC debut, with 112 significant strikes landed. That record was held, albeit briefly, by Nam Phan, who landed 102 significant strikes against Leonard Garcia at the TUF 12 Finale.
Pierson showed some offensive and impressive striking and grappling on his debut. Riddle was throwing like he thought the judges couldn't tell if his strikes were connecting or not.
