Duran looked good in his debut. He was aggressive and effective with leg kicks and counter punches and combinations. He hurt Mizugaki in the first round and Mizugaki became tentative but still kept countering.
The 2nd round was more of the same until the midway point when Mizugaki landed a nice flurry and followed up with a couple of takedowns and ground and pound. Mizugaki landed good elbows when he was on top. Duran landed good Knees from the clinch when he got the fight standing again.
The last round was more of the same on the feet and the ground. Very close fight.
