UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin is expected to take place on June 11, 2011 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Brock Lesnar was originally scheduled to fight Dos Santos after their coaching stint on The Ultimate Fighter 13, but had to back out of the fight due to a recurrence of diverticulitis. He was quickly replaced by Shane Carwin who was originally matched up with Jon Olav Einemo.

Two preliminary bouts will be televised live on Spike TV at 8 p.m. ET. The rest of the preliminary bouts will be streamed live at 5:50 p.m. ET.
