In the 1st round Hougland was able to keep the fight on the floor where he wanted it, but Walker was able to hold his own. Both fighters were throwing sloppy, but Hougland was able to tag Walker while Walker was going for power shots. Hougland was more successful with some submissions, threatening with guillotines, armbars and a triangle. In the 3rd round Walker was able to capitalize on a failed takedown attempt by Hougland and land some ground and pound and a submission.
