Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber were each awarded $75,000 bonuses for Fight of the Night.
The first 3 round were close,
but Cruz clearly edged Faber out with dynamic strikes. Cruz started to slow
down in the 4th round allowing Faber to land more, evening out the
round. Even though Cruz was ahead going into the last round he turned up the
pressure coming out with a flying knee and going for a lot of takedowns and
trying to finish. That was definitely a Fight of the Year candidate.
