Both fighters were very aggressive. Pettis with his usual dynamic style and Stephens with explosive and powerful combinations. Pettis was able to threaten off his back when he was taken down and force Stephens to bring it back to the feet. In the 2nd and 3rd Pettis did very well with his own take downs and was able to control and threaten Stephen.
