WEC 36 is scheduled to take place on November 5, 2008 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event is expected to air live on the Versus Network. WEC Middleweight Champion Paulo Filho will defend his title again against Chael Sonnen in the main event of the evening . WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber will also put his belt on the line against Mike Brown. The event was originally scheduled for September 10, 2008, but was postponed due to the threat of Hurricane Ike.
