It’s good to see Hardy on a PPV. This will be a real coming out party for him if he doesn’t get KO’d. He did a phenomenal job against Gono, which most people haven’t seen.

you went 8-2 in your picks, so did I,that damn kos upset messed me up.
Yes. But if we had to choose a winner, I would best you on the methods. Next time fill in all your methods and rounds.
so it’s totalled up by tiebreakers. straight pics, regardless of round or method, then if theres a tie, you go to the other things? not like MMAplayground which assigns points to all of them, then totals the points?
Im not big on methods but you got me then
Well nothing says you have to count methods. Everyone has their own system. Here’s the one we’re using at MMA Ratings (as of….now). Everyone seems to have their own rules for these things, and I have mine too. Here they are:
Everyone indicate three things:
1) winner: who you think will win,
2) method: how you think they will win,
3) extraneous: either the round, or decisions type (unanimous or split)
Each participant gets one point for each correct winner. If there is a winner, the contest is over.
If there’s a tie, then everyone who tied for first place gets one more point for every correct winner/method. If there is a winner, the contest is over.
If there’s a tie, then everyone who tied for first place gets one more point for every correct winner/method/extraneous. If there is a winner, the contest is over.
If there’s a tie, then its a tie.
If you omit any piece of relevant information, you don’t get credit for it.
This way picking correct winners always trumps methods, and methods always trumps round or decision type. But at the same time we can avoid ties.
Eventually I would like to have some kind of contest.
