Cain Velasquez was awarded a $50,000 bonus for Knockout of the Night.
So much for a referendum on the utility of the guard. Nogueira will always be a dangerous opponent, but if he's getting knocked out by guys who aren't known for their striking, his time as an elite heavyweight is at it's end.
