Welterweight bout: Josh Koscheck defeated Paul Daley via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
In the middle of the first round it appeared as though Daley landed an illegal knee to the head while Koscheck was down, however the replay showed that the knee, while apparently thrown to Koscheck’s head never landed.
After the final round ended Daley followed Koscheck back to his corner and sucker punched him. Daley was cut from the UFC moments after the event.
Koscheck played it smart and didn't mess around on the feet, then wow, the fight started to look like the Anthony Johnson fight with an illegal blow, except Koscheck was only acting! I was impressed with Koscheck's where-with-all to recognize the illegal knee to the head attempt and think to act like he was hurt.
And not to be outdone by Strikeforce, Daley punches Koscheck in the eye well after the end of the fight.
