Maeda and Kanehara were both swinging early with reckless abandon. Kanehara seemed to be getting the better of things briefly but he was on queer street after taking a punch to the grill. He managed to come back, a few times, but Maeda wasn't as phased and kept landing.
Very exciting while it lasted. Kanehara was definitely rocked, but he wasn't out and the stoppage was totally premature.
