UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II, previously known as “Cruz vs. Faber 3”, is to take place on July 07, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
UFC 148 was originally to be headlined by Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber until Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen was moved from UFC 147. Subsequently Cruz had to pull out of the fight due to injury.
