Out of 10 fights, 8 went to decision, with 5 being split. This seems to have frustrated many fans. Certainly I would have liked to see more prelims televised, but these fights were all solid. While split decisions are indicative of lousy judging, they also, along with the unanimous decisions, are the result of solid match-ups and close fights. I like decisive finishes as much as anyone, but the facts that the first 8 fights resulted in each fighter winning at least one round displays some inherent quality in this card that shouldn’t be overlooked.
If you can’t appreciate that, don’t watch the fights, just rent Ultimate Knock-outs.
