man, this fight bored the heck out of me. outside of the one exchange in the first i think (that may have been two slips) i was really disinterested. brandon vera’s just turned to nothing. wonder what the excuse this time will be? another broken hand? another hard cut? whatever.
I don’t think it was soo bad. Jardine is usually not that exciting, more of a grinder, and Vera only seems to shine when he’s got the advantage (who doesn’t). I can see where this would be a big disappointment if you had high expectations.
I found this fight fairly compelling, although not a barn-burner.
I definitely wasn’t bored, although I was often frustrated with Vera.
